Peter Pan Leads Festivities with Fireworks and Fairy Tale Shows

Step by step, Peter Pan has arrived at the most important day of the fairy tale woven throughout the city, aiming first to captivate the youngest, but with hope to also persuade some who have stopped believing in fairy tales—mainly due to age—to give it another try, whether just for an hour or for a night.

This evening is dedicated to fireworks, undoubtedly the most mesmerizing and splendid show of the program organized by the Comitato manifestazioni. The fireworks display, reflecting off the lake’s water and with explosions echoing from the rocky walls of Rocchetta, is scheduled for 10 p.m.

However, the range of offerings is broad, before and after.

Afternoon and evening schedule

It begins at 11 a.m. with Peter Pan in Piazza Battisti, at the Meeting Point, and in the fairy tale village; at 4 p.m., at the Lost Boys’ corner, a game workshop and treasure hunt; at 6 p.m., in Piazza Catena, The Wendy Chronicle, storytelling of fairy tales and tales.

At 8 p.m., the streets of the town center host a parade and show by the Pirates, leading up to the fireworks display at 10 p.m.

Following this, from 10:30 p.m., the night of singing, dancing, music, and merriment begins, destined to continue until the early hours of Sunday morning.

Shows and entertainment in the square

In Piazza III Novembre, All’arrembaggio, a street festival; in Piazza Cavour, Pirate Music; and in Piazza Garibaldi, a show with The Pirates.

The Fairy Tale is working.
