A **38-year-old** man of Albanian descent and homeless has been arrested in **Peschiera del Garda** for setting a police car on fire. The incident occurred yesterday morning, **Tuesday, November 12**, on Via Parco Catullo, near the headquarters of the Nautical Team. The individual broke the vehicle’s window and poured a flammable liquid inside before igniting the car. Surveillance cameras captured the entire scene, allowing officers to identify him quickly.
The arrest took place after the man was found in possession of knives and a pepper spray, leading to an additional charge for carrying weapons or objects intended for assault. Although the act does not appear to have any clear political or social motivations, the 38-year-old has a criminal record for domestic abuse and was residing irregularly in Italy.
