Police Launches New Patrol Boat in Peschiera del Garda for Lake Safety

A new “870 Walk Around” patrol boat has entered service with the State Police (Polizia di Stato), assigned to the Internal Waters Unit in Peschiera del Garda. The vessel was delivered on June 17 during a ceremony attended by Police Chief Prefect Vittorio Pisani and Bardolino mayor Daniele Bertasi.

The initiative is the result of institutional cooperation among 15 municipalities, including Bardolino, with support from Cantiere Saver S.r.l. The investment is aimed at strengthening water control and improving on-site policing and intervention capacity, with the new unit used for operational activities such as surveillance and monitoring of the area by the Internal Waters Unit.
