Polpenazze del Garda Car Crash Sparks Road Safety Debate

A road accident occurred on December 31 at around 10:30 a.m. in Via Calvagese, Polpenazze del Garda, involving a Fiat Ducato van and an MG car. The collision at the intersection resulted in the van losing its front right tire and the car hitting a roadside cypress tree. The incident is under investigation by the local police, “Colline Moreniche del Garda.”

Emergency services responded to assist the injured drivers, including medical teams from Gavardo and Bedizzole, as well as a VAN unit from Nuvolento. Both drivers were transported to hospitals in Desenzano del Garda and Gavardo with non-serious injuries. Firefighters from Salò also attended the scene to ensure road safety.
