The Polpenazze Fair is set to kick off its 73rd edition, which will take place from tomorrow, May 23, until Monday, June 2. This highly anticipated food and wine event is expected to attract around thirty thousand visitors, featuring over 200 local wine labels from 27 wineries in the area. Guests will have the opportunity to taste a selection of typical wines such as Groppello and Valtenesi rosé, while the fairgrounds will be set up in the historic center of the town, particularly on Via Zanardelli and in Piazza Roma and Piazza Biolchi.
Admission to the fair costs 15 euros and includes a glass and a bag for tastings, while entry is free for children under 13 and for certain specific categories. In addition to the open tastings, themed masterclasses on wine and food pairings are planned. During the event, the 19th National Wine Competition will also take place, with awards presented on Saturday morning. Other attractions will include evening musical events, a funfair open until midnight, and numerous food stalls offering local specialties along the town’s streets.
