The Municipality of Polpenazze has recently launched an initiative to combat home burglaries, in collaboration with the National Carabinieri Association of Salò. This territorial monitoring service has been implemented in response to the increase in both completed and attempted thefts that have affected various areas of the community. The aim is to ensure greater security in the area through a constant presence in the most vulnerable zones and active citizen involvement in reporting suspicious activities.
Mayor Maria Rosa Avanzini emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating that the support from the ANC will not be repressive in nature, but rather aimed at creating a visible presence in the area to deter potential criminals. Furthermore, the mayor urged the population to contact the emergency number 112 in the event of unusual situations or suspicious individuals, thereby highlighting the need for collaboration between citizens and law enforcement to enhance collective safety.
