The Ponale Trail has been closed for approximately two months for routine maintenance, affecting hikers, residents, and visitors in Garda Trentino. The closure involves work by construction teams and technicians, with Riva and Torbole remaining key vantage points for viewing the trail.

The historic route, renowned for its lake-edge views and scenic overlooks, features remnants of the Austrian-built Tagliata del Ponale fortifications near the second and third tunnels. Once maintenance is complete, the trail will reopen to the public.
