Post Offices Shut in Valtenesi

Post office services in Valtenesi are facing further disruption, with the Carzago branch (Calvagese della Riviera) set to reopen only on **October 9** after closing in early June for the **Polis** project. The mayor, **Maria Teresa Comini**, said the delay—at least three months beyond the previous schedule—was linked to late notification of the works and delays in the delivery of required materials.

The **Padenghe** office remains closed as well, with a planned reopening on **September 10**. Meanwhile, work has already been completed in **San Felice, Soiano, Puegnago and Manerba**. Until autumn, residents needing to collect held parcels and mail, or to carry out transactions related to current accounts and passbooks, will have to use the **Bedizzole** post office for Carzago. Once the Polis interventions are finished, the plan also includes additional services such as **civil registry services**, **INPS support**, and **passport services**.
