Pozzolengo Considers Launching Its Local Pro Loco Initiative
Pro loco in Pozzolengo? It has been discussed for years, but nothing has come of it so far. One of the most persistent supporters of the project has always been Gabriele Tosi, president of the local merchants’ association and member of the board of the Associazione Turistica Colline Moreniche del Garda.
Revitalization and municipal initiatives
Recently, the idea of relaunching was proposed by the tourism assessor Riccardo Saetti, who organized a series of meetings with local grassroots groups: “The creation of this institution is a necessity for the entire town: it would promote the tourist and commercial development of Pozzolengo.”
Assessore Saetti clarified that the surveys regarding the possible formation of the Pro loco are a personal initiative and not a municipal one. Also, Mayor of Pozzolengo, Paolo Bellini, who attended the meeting only as an invitee, reiterated that the project would have no political content, while emphasizing its utility.
Participation and structure of the steering committee
So far, 22 people have volunteered to become part of the steering committee. Nine of them have been selected to coordinate all activities and events this year, as well as to draft a preliminary statute, taking all necessary steps for the official launch of the organization.
The newly formed board includes Riccardo Saetti, Bruno Croveglia, Gabriele Tosi, Laura Tosadori, Roberto Pacchioni, Alfredo Meda, Angelo Zenegaglia, Domenico Sinni, and Silvano Buzzacchetti.
