Pro-Crea Donates Cutting-Edge Ultrasound Machine to Arco to Improve Diagnoses and Reduce Waiting Times
A compact, state-of-the-art ultrasound machine donated by Pro-Crea Onlus to Arco hospital’s Center for Medically Assisted Procreation (PMA) and the obstetrics and gynecology department was unveiled in a ceremony this week, aimed at increasing ultrasound capacity and reducing patient waiting times.
The device delivers high-definition imaging and includes guides to facilitate oocyte retrieval. It will be used for monitoring ovarian stimulation, gynecological diagnoses, and pregnancy monitoring, expanding ultrasound access for hospital patients and for couples seeking PMA from outside the province. The event was attended by provincial health assessor Mario Tonina, ASUIT general director Antonio Ferro, the director of the provincial hospital service Michele Sommavilla, the head of the Arne Luehwink unit, Pro-Crea president Paola Arcese, Antonella Ferro, Arco mayor Arianna Fiorio, and Comunità vice-president Ginetta Santoni.
