A new agreement between Federalberghi Garda Veneto and the “Marie Curie” Higher Education Institute in Garda and Bussolengo marks an important step for local tourism, creating a network between schools and businesses. Signed on May 21, 2025, this project aims to train young professionals ready to enter the workforce, strengthening ties with the over 430 accommodation facilities on the Veronese shore. The initiative includes the development of training programs aligned with the needs of the tourism sector, facilitating employment opportunities through internships and meetings with industry experts.
The President of Federalberghi Garda Veneto, Ivan De Beni, emphasized the importance of this synergy in ensuring a qualified workforce in the tourism sector. School Principal Anastasia Zanoncelli reiterated the school’s commitment to collaborating with local federations to enhance educational offerings. Luigi Zermini, President of the Garda and Costermano Hoteliers Association, also highlighted the need to adapt educational pathways to the new skills demanded by the ever-evolving tourism industry.
