Public funding for the Garda collector: interventions by ATO Veronese
An important announcement was made today, Thursday the 4th, regarding public funding for the Garda collector, with a total of 73 million euros allocated to ATO Veronese. Of this amount, an initial tranche of 20 million euros has already been disbursed for 2025 by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, while an additional 30 million euros is expected for 2026. Furthermore, 22 million euros will be provided by the Ministry of the Environment, along with 1 million euro allocated by the Province of Verona. These funds will be managed by the Azienda Gardesana Servizi for the implementation of the new sections of the collector. During the press conference, Angelo Cresco, president of AGS, emphasized how the funding will allow for the continuation of work on the sewer collector between Maraschina and the centralized treatment plant in Peschiera del Garda. Flavio Massimo Pasini, president of the Province of Verona, highlighted the significance of this extraordinary contribution and the protection of water and environmental resources.
