A railway strike has been announced for February 5, from 3:00 AM until 2:00 AM the following day, by the ORSA union. This event may have significant impacts on regional, suburban, and airport services provided by Trenord, as well as long-distance travel. According to official communications, trains departing after 6 AM and after 6 PM will arrive by 9 AM and 9 PM, respectively, while details regarding “Guaranteed Minimum Services” are available on the company’s website.
In the event of cancellations for trains heading to the airport, direct buses will be activated without intermediate stops between Milano Cadorna and Malpensa Airport to ensure the continuity of the Malpensa Express service. The buses will depart from via Paleocapa 1 at Milano Cadorna and will also connect Stabio with the airport. Users are encouraged to pay attention to announcements at the stations and to check real-time information via Trenord’s dedicated app.
