Red Cross Hydroambulance Returns to Service on Lake Garda in Verona

The Italian Red Cross’ water ambulance has returned to service in Bardolino, with the “Bardolino Baldo Garda” committee providing a dedicated medical support point on the Verona side of Lake Garda. The vessel will operate every day until August 23, from 10:00 to 18:00, to ensure rapid assistance both on the water and along the shoreline.

Volunteers will patrol the area and respond to emergencies, injuries, or sudden illnesses on the lake. The initiative is intended to improve safety for residents and tourists during peak season by reducing response times through quick access to riverside locations by boat, and the municipal administration thanked the Red Cross volunteers for their daily commitment.
