From 3 to 17 October, the Biblioteca Civica di Toscolano-Maderno will host Metamorphosis, an exhibition of sculptures, jewellery and drawings by artist Anita Treccani, known under the pseudonym Red Fox, in collaboration with Milena Bini. The event also marks a special collaboration with the Vittoriale in Gardone, the museum dedicated to Gabriele D’Annunzio, which will receive a work by the artist.
The exhibition will be inaugurated on Saturday 3 October at 17:00. In Toscolano-Maderno, two works dedicated to D’Annunzio and to Duse will be displayed. The show is titled La trasformazione è l’essenza della bellezza, presenting Red Fox’s artistic statement and combining sculpture, jewellery and drawing in a surreal exploration of hybrid and monstrous forms.
At the Vittoriale in Gardone, the museum will be given an artwork depicting a ceramic apple with silver turtles. Born in Brescia in 1991, Anita Treccani studied at the Liceo Artistico and the Accademia di Belle Arti in Brescia, specialising in Decoration, and later developed her skills as an illustrator and engraver in Verona. Her work includes jewellery techniques such as Agemina and training in micro-sculpture at ArmadaArt, and her style is described as gothic, featuring hybrid and monstrous creatures in surreal compositions.
