The redevelopment project for the Conca d’Oro in Torbole, which won the competition promoted by Trentino Marketing and the Autonomous Province of Trento, has been selected from 51 proposals submitted from around the world. The masterplan is crafted by engineer-architect Ermanno Cirillo, founder of Enari Architects, who has presented an innovative vision for a new hub dedicated to water sports. The proposal includes the creation of high-quality public spaces, a central garden square, and pedestrian and cycling paths, aiming to transform the area into an accessible and sustainable meeting point for the community and visitors.
The press conference held at the Municipality of Nago Torbole featured various local representatives, including Mayor Gianni Morandi and Provincial Councillor Roberto Failoni. The latter emphasized how the project fits into the “Sailing 365” strategy, aimed at promoting sailing activities year-round. In addition to the first prize awarded to Cirillo, the projects by architect Giacomo Tomidei and architect Marianna Volsa were also recognized, taking second and third places, respectively. All proposals can be viewed at Al Casèl in Torbole until June 29.
