The municipal council of Lonato del Garda has recently approved the executive project for the renovation of the Centenaro sports center, a long-awaited initiative announced during a meeting with the Neighborhood Representatives last March. The work includes significant improvements, such as the replacement of the synthetic grass on the football field, the renewal of the entrance gates and play equipment, as well as the replacement of the external fixtures of the building used as a parish hall. The total investment for this project amounts to 300,000 euros, primarily funded by municipal resources and partially supported by the regional call for proposals “Commerce Districts 2022-2024.”
The timelines provided by the municipality estimate that the work will begin and be completed within approximately two months. Mayor Roberto Tardani emphasized the importance of this project for the community, highlighting that this renovation will allow citizens to once again enjoy a modern and functional sports center, thereby increasing opportunities for sports and recreational activities in the Centenaro district.
