Regional Initiative Supports Vulnerable Residents in Cornuda
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last for two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be strengthened.
