The lakeside promenade of Maderno recently witnessed a truly extraordinary wedding. In fact, the couple composed of Annamaria Bogna and Claudio Pagani decided to celebrate their love in a Renaissance atmosphere, wearing splendid period costumes from the seventeenth century.
But this was not just a historical reenactment: the two spouses are the souls of the local social promotion association Christian Hubmann, which is dedicated to staging outdoor cultural events or in historical locations in the province. In particular, the association focuses on the Mantuan family of the Gonzagas, who in the past owned a palace in Maderno.
After the wedding ceremony held at the Benamati Palace by Mayor Chiara Chimini, all the witnesses and guests joined Annamaria and Claudio in a colorful procession along the lakeside promenade. The customary photos were taken under the amused and applauding eyes of those present.
This unusual wedding certainly caught the attention of passersby on the lakeside promenade of Maderno. Many curiously asked what event was taking place, surprised to discover that it was indeed a real wedding.
