Renewal of medical equipment at Arco Hospital: new CT and radiological table
The Arco Hospital is set to receive a state-of-the-art CT scanner and a new remote-controlled radiology table, marking a significant step in the process of upgrading healthcare equipment. Installation work will begin tomorrow, September 12, and will involve dismantling the old equipment and renovating the space. During this period, a mobile CT scanner will be used to ensure the continuity of diagnostic activities. The new CT scanner is expected to arrive on October 28, and after technical testing, it will be operational by the end of November 2025.
This project is part of the PNRR funding and aims to enhance diagnostic services for the residents of Alto Garda and Ledro. The subsequent work for the remote-controlled radiology table will commence on October 30, with both devices ready for use by the first half of December 2025. The hospital management has communicated that there may be temporary inconveniences during the work, but has assured that these interventions are essential for improving the quality of healthcare in the community.
