Rescue Efforts Underway as 28-Year-Old Man Found Dead in Remote Tignale

A 28-year-old man was found dead in a ravine near the Santuario di Monte Castello in Tignale on February 24. The search was launched after his car was discovered on a provincial road, and reports indicated he left Gargnano around 4 p.m. with his cellphone turned off.

Rescue operations involved multiple agencies, including Brescia Firefighters with specialized SAF teams, regional resources with drone technology and IMSI catchers, Carabinieri, CNSAS, and medical emergency services. The body, resident in Maclodio, was recovered by a medical helicopter.
