Two hikers were rescued overnight after becoming stranded at an altitude of 700 meters in the municipality of Toscolano Maderno. The mountain rescue operation was initiated by the SOREU delle Alpi control center around 9:30 PM on Sunday, when the technicians from the Valle Sabbia station received a report about the two individuals in difficulty in the Ortello area of Vigole.
The rescue teams, assisted by the Fire Brigade, reached the hikers using specific technical maneuvers and, after providing them with assistance, guided them along the trail back to the road. The operation concluded around 1 AM, ensuring the safe return of those involved.
