Two German tourists, a mother and daughter, were rescued in the evening after getting stranded on Monte Baldo during a hike. The incident occurred on Wednesday, July 30, when the hikers alerted the father around 10 PM, indicating that they could not proceed due to darkness on trail number 634 in the area of Malcesine.

Emergency services were immediately activated, with the intervention of operators from Verona and Ala, as well as the Riva del Garda Alpine Rescue, who deployed a helicopter from Trento to survey the area. The women were rescued using a winch and were subsequently escorted safely to Navene, without sustaining any injuries.
