The search for the body of Zhu Guozheng, known as “Tommy,” continues without success in the waters of Lake Garda, in Gargnano. The 44-year-old, who resides in Toscolano Maderno and owns the Furious pub, disappeared on Saturday afternoon after diving from a small motorboat. The search operations are coordinated by the Coast Guard and involve the Diving Unit of the Volunteer Divers of Garda di Salò, with the support of the patrol boats of the Finance Guard and the Fire Department.
Despite the use of radar and a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) on board the Volga vessel, the dives have not yet yielded any results. The explorations are focused on an area between the San Giacomo area and the power plant near Gargnano, where some Austrian boaters saw Zhu waving his arms before disappearing beneath the surface. The search continues tirelessly, while messages of condolences for Zhu’s partner Monica and their two young children continue to be shared on social media.
