The Teatro Sociale di Salò has launched the “Adopt a Stage” project, inviting individuals and companies to contribute to the restoration of the municipal theater. This initiative, supported by the Cipani Administration and the Mayor Francesco Cagnini’s Council, allows participants to make tax-deductible donations through the Art Bonus, which offers a 65% tax credit for individuals and businesses. Donors have the opportunity to “adopt” a stage, a seat, or an entire section of seats, receiving acknowledgments such as having their name mentioned and invitations to special events, although without any real rights over the property.
The overall restoration costs have risen from an initial estimate of around 7.5 million to 14.5 million euros, necessitating a revision of the previously approved budget forecasts. Donations may also provide discounts on tickets and subscriptions or the use of the theater for events organized by the donors. This initiative represents a significant opportunity to support local culture and preserve an important historical heritage.
