In **Gardone Riviera**, the legendary **D’Annunzio biplane**, the Ansaldo Sva used during the famous flight over Vienna in 1918, has returned to the ground. Temporarily removed from the vault of the Auditorium of the Vittoriale, the aircraft has been secured for restoration. This work coincides with the renovation of the auditorium, which will involve a complete overhaul of the structure, expected to be completed by next spring and equipped with heating and cooling systems. The president of the Vittoriale, Giordano Bruno Guerri, emphasized the significance of these efforts, describing them as among the most challenging ever undertaken by the institution. The current seats will be replaced, and the first two rows will be sold as souvenirs at a price of 190 euros each, with the proceeds going towards the renovation work. At the same time, restoration efforts continue at the Mausoleum where D’Annunzio rests, which will be returned to its original appearance and equipped with nighttime lighting. Italian Version
