Reviving Colà’s Sagra della Madonna delle Neve with music and food
The origin of the Sagra della Madonna delle Neve, also known as the Sinque de Agosto, is lost in time. The tradition is rooted in popular devotion.
Organizations and Meeting Points
The groups Gens Claudia and Le Sgalmare, two philanthropic sports associations from Colà, have organized to revive the festival. The whole pig’s anus will be available to taste from today until Monday, August 6, in every restaurant and trattoria in Colà, as well as at outdoor kiosks.
The two main gathering points during the four days in Colà are the Madonna della Neve near the sports facilities, and the square dedicated to Don Vantini. Here is the program.
