Riva del Garda has officially been awarded the title of “City of Wine” during a ceremony held at the town hall on November 29. This recognition marks the city’s entry into the national association that brings together municipalities with a strong winemaking vocation, thereby contributing to the promotion and enhancement of local wine production. The ceremony was attended by Mayor Cristina Santi and Economic Activities Councillor Lorenzo Pozzer, along with a delegation from the association led by National President Angelo Radica.
President Radica emphasized the significance of Riva del Garda in wine production, highlighting how this achievement represents an opportunity to develop sustainable projects and promote wine tourism. Mayor Santi expressed her gratitude to Councillor Pozzer for his commitment to this initiative, underscoring the need to promote local products and improve the visibility of the region’s gastronomic excellence.
