On Saturday, May 3rd, **Riva del Garda** will host the traditional **Blessing of the Boatmen**, a highly anticipated event that celebrates local culture and the connection to the lake. The ceremony, organized by the Friends of Tirlindana in collaboration with the municipal administration and the volunteer fire brigade, will begin at 9:45 AM at the Catena harbor, in front of the town hall. After the official greetings from the president of the association and the mayor, Don Dario will bless the boats at the chapel of the Madonnina, located at the entrance of the Gulf of Riva.
The event will last approximately an hour and a half and will also feature the participation of the Riva del Garda Diving Group, which will present a new eco-friendly inflatable boat. For those wishing to witness the ceremony from the lake, the companies Furletti and Cattoni will offer free pedal boats, while spots will be available on local fishermen’s boats. All navigators are invited to join this celebration of **events on Lake Garda**, thus helping to keep local traditions alive.
