In Riva del Garda, the “Hospitality Award – Inclusivity and Welcoming” has been launched, an initiative aimed at rewarding innovative projects in the field of accessible hospitality. The competition, organized by Hospitality – The Salon of Welcoming in collaboration with WMF – We Make Future, is open until May 20, 2025, and seeks to promote ideas that break down physical, sensory, and cultural barriers in tourism. Tourist facilities, including hotels and restaurants, are invited to submit solutions that enhance the guest experience through an inclusive approach.
The award jury will consist of industry experts who will evaluate the applications based on criteria such as the impact on accessibility, innovation, and sustainability. The winning entity will have the opportunity to present their project during the WMF Festival 2025 at BolognaFiere from June 4 to 6 and will participate in the 50th edition of Hospitality, scheduled from February 2 to 5, 2026, in Riva del Garda. This recognition is part of a broader commitment to promote inclusivity in tourism, highlighting the growing focus on making tourism offerings accessible to all.
