The third stage of the Turbocup took place at the Fraglia Vela Riva del Garda, where twenty crews faced six challenging races characterized by a steady wind ranging from 15 to 20 knots. Once again, the boat Pura Vida (Parisi, Gandini, Zermini, Battistoli – Fraglia Vela Malcesine) stood out in this competition, demonstrating great skill with a flawless start in the fourth race. In second place was Speedy (Marco Schirato and others), while Lulù (Tea Faoro and others) also made it to the podium, showcasing spectacular comebacks.
With three stages already completed, the overall ranking of the Turbocup is becoming increasingly competitive: Speedy leads the Skipper-Owner classification, followed by Lulù and Deghejo. The organization by Fraglia Vela has been efficient, effectively managing the races and creating an engaging atmosphere during evening events featuring exceptional guests like Olympic sailor Torben Grael. Attention now shifts to Torbole for the European Championship in July, while the season finale will take place in Lovere in September, promising more excitement in the world of sailing competitions.
