Riva d’Inaggiere Implements Night Patrols, but Dog Access Concerns Remain
The decision by the mayor of Riva d’’ingaggiere a night patrol to combat the spread of vandalism along the lakeside has been met with a certain enthusiasm by those who enjoy living on the beach in complete tranquility, even after sunset.
However, some remain unable to frequent it: dogs and their owners. “I read that Mayor Malossini – writes a Riva resident in a letter – is concerned about increasing microcriminality and vandalism and plans to establish a team of security personnel to monitor the beach from 11 pm to 5 am. Fine, excellent. But now, a question naturally arises: why isn’t anything being done to allow access to the beach in the evening hours for dogs accompanied by their owners on a leash, equipped with a “necessaire” for removing waste, especially considering that over 400 signatures were already submitted into your hands last October?”
Concerns for Tourist Image
I believe that for the city’s tourist image, visitors should always feel comfortable during their stay, even when accompanied by their four-legged friends.
