Riva Hosts Eco Walk to Celebrate World Water Day Organized by Il Lago Inizia Qui

A community cleanup event will take place on March 22nd from 10:30 to 12:30 at Largo dell’Inviolata in Riva, as part of the “Il lago inizia qui” project. Volunteers and residents are invited to collect cigarette butts, plastic, and small debris along city streets to highlight the connection between urban waste, storm drains, and waterways, aligning with World Water Day initiatives.

The event is free and open to all, with no prior registration required. Organizers will provide gloves and collection materials, while participants are expected to bring a collaborative attitude. Similar activities are scheduled in Pinzolo and Ponte Arche along the Sarca River, involving local volunteers and project promoters.
