Riva Hosts “Neverland” Treasure Hunt for Night of Fairytales

Last year, the main theme was Alice in Wonderland. This year, instead, the Comitato Manifestazioni Rivane has decided, after taking children’s requests into account, that the leitmotif of the 2000 edition of the Night of Fairytales will be the story of Peter Pan. And when talking about the adventures of the eternal boy, the famous “Neverland” immediately comes to mind.

The Treasure Hunt

And it is precisely “Neverland” that is the title of the impressive treasure hunt organized by the organizers for the last of the four days of the event: August 27. Impressive because in the game, ten teams of eight players each will be involved, and the playing field will be none other than Riva itself.

After a year of pause, in fact, and albeit in very different trials, the residents of Riva return to challenge each other divided into teams. The same ingredients that also formed the basis of the Palio delle Quadre remain: healthy competition, old rivalries, and lots of merriment.

Details of the Competition

The treasure hunt will start from Piazza Tre Novembre at 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 27, and will end at 7 p.m. in the same square, with the proclamation of the winning team — the one that, having completed all the challenges, will have scored the most points.

To participate in the event or for further information, just go to the Comitato Manifestazioni Rivane headquarters, located at via Maffei 7. Registration will be possible until 6 p.m. on August 18: the participation fee has been set at 10,000 lire per player.
