With a small amount of money, you can have a ‘lady’ flower box like mine and add some color to Riva.” This is the proposal from Giovanni Dossi, the well-known merchant from Riva, owner of the bathroom and ceramics shop on Viale Trento, who knows his way around petals.

Driving along the stradone Arco-Riva, it’s practically impossible not to notice the geraniums decorating the terrace of his shop: a real eye-catcher in an area that, to be honest, is somewhat neglected; and for him, an example to follow.

“Is it possible that hoteliers don’t realize that even a hundred meters of flower pots, thanks to modern irrigation and fertilization systems, doesn’t require that much effort? I, for example, spend no more than a quarter of an hour a day taking care of my geraniums,” he says, proudly observing the pots that span the entire length of the terrace.
