The Musica Riva Festival, a renowned international event dedicated to classical and contemporary music, is celebrating its 40th edition from July 19th to 28th in Riva del Garda. Once again, the festival offers a series of high-level masterclasses and workshops designed for young talents and music enthusiasts.

From July 20th to 30th, advanced improvement courses will be available with internationally renowned teachers such as Mietta Sighele (vocal), Massimo Somenzi (piano), Gilles Apap (violin), Marco Tamayo (guitar), Paolo Taballione (flute), and Piergiuseppe Doldi (trumpet). These experts will guide the participants through intensive lessons aimed at improving their musical skills.

In addition to the masterclasses, the festival offers six unique workshops that explore various aspects of music and musical instruments. Among the workshop participants are groups such as Tetraktis Percussion and the percussionists of La Scala, as well as artists like Debbie Summa (pop vocals), Elvezio Fortunato (modern guitar), Ashanka Sen, and Maurizio Murdocca (Indian music). These meetings offer a unique opportunity to learn from the best in the industry.

Special attention is also given to violin making with Clara Contadini and guitar making with Marco La Manna. These workshops, scheduled from July 26th to 28th, represent specialized three-day experiences in which participants can delve into the construction techniques of the instruments.

Registrations for the Musica Riva Festival’s workshops and masterclasses are already open. Interested individuals can send an email to info@musicariva.org or call +39 0464.554073 for more information. The festival’s offices are located at Viale Liberazione 7 in Riva del Garda and are open to the public from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1 pm.

Participants in the advanced improvement courses are divided into two categories: active students and auditors. The teachers will have the opportunity to select the active students for each course; those who are not chosen as active students can still participate as auditors.

The Musica Riva Festival continues its tradition of musical excellence, offering unmissable training opportunities in the enchanting setting of Lake Garda.
