Rivane Celebrates Carnival with Free Festivities and Masked Follies

A celebration for all Rivane associations that live the city’s life through the work of various groups, committees, and societies, which, for one evening, will put aside jealousy and rivalry to gather at the Spiaggia degli Olivi for a moment of togetherness and fun.

But also an evening dedicated to the carnival, open to all citizens. It is the “Veglione dell’Anzolim – in search of the lost fool – small follies in a carnival night” that the Comitato Manifestazioni Rivane is organizing for next Friday.

The follies of the big night

And the follies, assure the organizers, will be those of the guests who will preferably, but not necessarily, come in costume. As background music, songs that are typically popular «’sti ani» have been chosen, but strictly live, while admission will be completely free.

After years of dormancy, the sweet life returns to Riva with force, characterized by grand evenings, masked parties, and nights at the disco by the moonlight, which shatters on the lake in a unique spectacle.

At one o’clock, at the climax of the festivities, the Comitato Manifestazioni Rivane will offer a sumptuous spaghetti dinner to those present. Information and reservations can be made at the committee’s office.
