In the night between Thursday and Friday, a tragic road accident resulted in the death of Diana Siminescu, a 42-year-old mother of four, along Provincial Road 78 in Calvagese della Riviera. The Traffic Police have identified the motorist involved, a 24-year-old woman driving a black Audi, which has now been seized by the authorities. The suspect is facing charges of vehicular manslaughter and fleeing the scene of the accident after striking the victim and throwing her into a ditch.
Diana’s body was found around 1:30 AM near the airstrip on Via Marconi. Emergency responders could only confirm her death. The investigation is being conducted by the Traffic Police of Salò, who are analyzing vehicle fragments and surveillance footage from the area to reconstruct the events. During checks at several local body shops, officers were able to trace the young driver, who told investigators that she did not realize the accident had occurred.
