A serious traffic accident occurred on Tuesday, May 27, in Gallarate, in the Fascia d’Oro area, where a 57-year-old driver, licensed for passenger transport, caused the death of a 46-year-old woman, Ba Fatou, originally from Senegal and residing in Carpenedolo. The man, who tested positive for cocaine at the time of the accident, overtook another vehicle at high speed, veering into the opposite lane and colliding with the victim’s Peugeot. The impact was devastating and left no chance for the woman, who was a mother of three children.
The driver involved in the accident sustained serious injuries, but his condition has improved over the hours.
