A tragic road accident occurred this afternoon, April 25, in Ledro, where a motorcyclist from Brescia lost his life. The incident took place under the Agnese tunnel along the SS240, a particularly busy stretch leading to Riva del Garda. Despite the prompt intervention of the Fire Brigade and air rescue services, the 30-year-old had no chance of survival; he died at the scene.
The authorities closed the road to facilitate rescue operations and remove the vehicles involved. This accident marks the fifth fatality on the roads of Brescia since the beginning of the month and the fifteenth since the start of the year, highlighting a concerning increase in fatal accidents in the area.
