Road accident in Lonato: a 16-year-old boy dead
A tragic road accident occurred today, July 31, along the SP25 between Lonato and Padenghe, where a 16-year-old boy lost his life. The young man, riding his Yamaha motorcycle, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a car. He was urgently transported to the hospital in Desenzano in critical condition but unfortunately succumbed to his severe injuries shortly after his arrival. The Traffic Police are conducting an investigation to clarify the circumstances surrounding the accident; the driver involved, a 50-year-old man, is currently not under investigation.
This incident comes in a particularly painful context for the local community, as just a few days ago, the funeral of Marco Calvi, another 16-year-old, was held. He had died in a road accident in Cellatica while riding a Vespa 50. The church was filled with friends and peers who came to pay their respects to the young man.
