A road accident occurred this morning, Tuesday, March 4, in Lonato del Garda, involving a 28-year-old motorcyclist. The incident took place on via Cassetta, near the border with Calcinato, around 11:50 AM. According to reports from the Regional Emergency and Urgency Agency (Areu), the young rider lost control while overtaking, colliding head-on with a truck traveling in the opposite direction.
Emergency services were quick to respond, including firefighters and highway police to carry out the necessary investigations. The truck driver, a 27-year-old man, sustained only minor injuries. However, the motorcyclist required transportation to the hospital under yellow code for further examinations at the Poliambulanza in Brescia.
