Following heavy rains that hit the area on Sunday, June 23, a section of the “Strada Statale 46bis” (State Road 46bis) has been temporarily closed. This road connects Salò to Gardone Riviera, and the closure affects a point located a few kilometers before the “Vittoriale degli Italiani” (Italian Victory), the venue for tonight’s Interpol concert.
The Traffic Police have announced that traffic will be diverted through the historic center of Salò. This alternative route could cause significant delays, especially considering the expected influx of concert-goers.
The concert organizers suggest that participants leave well in advance of their originally planned time. This way, they can avoid being late due to possible traffic congestion along the diverted roads.
The road navigation service, Google Maps, has already been updated to reflect the road closure and suggest alternative routes.
