This morning, the State Police arrested a 57-year-old repeat offender from Brescia, accused of robbery in Brescia, in connection with three incidents that occurred on September 8 and 13. The man, who was riding a scooter with his face covered by a helmet, stole from two women as they were walking and from a third while she was cycling. During one of the robberies, the victim reacted and sustained injuries to her elbow and knee, deemed to be healable within ten days. The investigations led to the identification of the robber through surveillance footage and a tracking operation. During the search, the clothes used in the thefts and documents belonging to the victims were found. The suspect was arrested in the municipality of Varese and is currently being held at the “Nerio Fischione” Prison in Brescia. Due to his dangerousness, the Questore Paolo Sartori has issued personal preventive measures against him, including a ban on returning to the municipality of Brescia for four years. Italian Version
