A robbery took place in Desenzano, targeting the “Cuori ben nati” association shortly after the Sagra di San Biagio. On Monday evening, three masked men assaulted treasurer Ivan Spazzini outside his home, stealing the entire proceeds from the event, which amounted to approximately 6,000 euros. These funds were primarily intended to cover the expenses of the popular festival, and now the association is struggling to settle the debts incurred for organizing the event.
The ambush occurred when Spazzini, having returned home happily after the success of the festival, was confronted by the criminals as he exited his car. After threatening him, the robbers smashed the rear window of the vehicle to seize the bag containing the cash and Spazzini’s personal wallet, quickly fleeing the scene. The police were immediately alerted and have launched an investigation to track down those responsible for this criminal act.
