Robotic Surgery Starts in Chiari With Shared Network Between ASST Franciacorta and ASST Garda
Robotic surgery will begin at the Chiari hospital starting **20 July**, following a collaboration between **ASST Franciacorta** and **ASST Garda**. The new platform was installed as part of a shared surgical network aimed at expanding **minimally invasive surgery**.
Initially, the system will be used in **General Surgery** and **Urology**, with high-definition imaging and tools for minimally invasive procedures. In July, surgeons, anesthetists, and operating-room nurses will complete theoretical and hands-on training, conducted both at an international specialized center and across the two ASST facilities. The launch was attended by **Alessandra Bruschi** and **Roberta Chiesa** (general directors), **Oliviero Rinaldi** and **Pietro Imbrogno** (medical directors), and **Stefano Benedetti** and **Roberto Farfaglia** (heads of surgical-area departments).
