Rocca Towers Reopen to Public Amid Anticipation and New Access

Torre Apponale beats mastio della Rocca for four days. The opening to the public of the two prestigious balconies overlooking the city, the lake, and the Altogardesano territory is only three weeks away: which, after several years of anticipation, is a negligible interval. There is also a set date for the Anzilim tower: on Sunday, July 1st, the first volunteers, equipped with strong lungs and great curiosity, will be able to venture up the steep ladders leading to the over thirty meters of the summit terrace: right below the Renga, the city’s bell cast in 1532, bearing the coat of arms of Riva.

Open to the public of the Rocca

For the Rocca’s high tower, which experts consider the oldest part of the castle, the opening to the public will be postponed by a few days: the assessor Marino speaks of the first week of July, without giving more precise forecasts. With the possibility of climbing to admire a certainly breathtaking view, it is also expected to bring a boost of enthusiasm for the Museum: since the ticket will be unified, many who succumb to the charm of the panorama will also be visitors to the art gallery.
