On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the Municipality of Rovereto has organized a series of cultural events to raise awareness in the community about the issue of gender-based violence. Among these, a notable event is the meeting with lawyer Cathy La Torre, which will take place on November 23 at 6:30 PM at the Mart. During the event, La Torre will present her book “It’s Not Normal. If It’s Violence, It’s Not Love. It’s a Crime,” addressing the many facets of violence and providing legal tools to recognize and combat it.
The meeting will be introduced by Micol Cossali and Silvia Valduga, municipal councilors, and will feature a dialogue between La Torre and representatives from the Alba Chiara association. Participation in the event is free until seats are filled, thus offering an important opportunity for reflection on a crucial and current issue. This initiative is part of a broader program aimed at promoting collective actions against gender-based violence in the city.
