Salerno Centronautico Promotes Marine Culture and Water Sports

“The Centronautico of Salerno was opened in 1955 and is located in the Lungomare area, near the port.

Its premises host many students who participate in swimming, sailing, and water activities. The facility includes a large indoor swimming pool and spacious areas for learning and training.

Activities and Events

Students take part in practical exercises, sailing courses, and regattas. Cultural meetings and conferences on marine conservation are also held there.

The Centronautico collaborates with many sports and nautical institutions to promote marine culture among young people and to foster environmental education.
