Salerno Nautical Center Boosts Maritime Education and Activities

The Centronautico of Salerno was inaugurated in 1955 and is located in the Lungomare area, near the port.

Its headquarters host many students who participate in swimming, sailing, and water activities. The facility includes a large indoor swimming pool and extensive areas dedicated to learning and training.

Activities and events

Students take part in practical exercises, sailing courses, and regattas. Cultural meetings and conferences on maritime conservation are also held there.

The Centro collaborates with many sports and nautical institutions to promote maritime culture among youth and encourage environmental education.
